Under the Layer was a networking event created, organised and hosted by myself, bringing creative communities together every month to meet others, swap business details and gain new perspectives.

Designed to be inclusive and welcoming, the atmosphere encouraged participation from established professionals to those just starting to explore their creative career. Celebrating open dialogue and collaboration across creative disciplines, participants could expect a monthly guest speaker and an evening of creative conversations and insights.

This networking event tackled one of the biggest obstacles for participants; striking up new conversations with strangers.

Guests were given creative prompts that they could use to break the ice with others, not worry about small talk and actually dive right into meaningful discussions.
